❄️ M. Moose, Esq.: “My Official Statement on Snow” Comic

❄️ M. Moose, Esq.: “My Official Statement on Snow”

Comic

Comic‑Style Monologue, Complete With Dramatic Flair

Panel 1 — Close‑up on M. Moose’s face, eyes wide, snowflakes landing on his snout
“Snow,” I declare, “is nature’s way of reminding us that the world is both beautiful… and mildly inconvenient.”
Each flake lands on my nose like a tiny frozen insult. I blink. It melts. I blink again. Another one replaces it. This is my life now.

Panel 2 — M. Moose trudging through deep drifts, legs disappearing like he’s wading through whipped cream
I step forward.
I sink.
I step again.
I sink deeper.
At this point, I’m not walking — I’m participating in an unsolicited lower‑body workout. My thighs burn with the fire of a thousand suns. My dignity? Frostbitten.

Panel 3 — M. Moose looking up at the sky, snow swirling like a glittery blizzard ballet
But then… I look up.
And the snow is sparkling.
Every flake is a tiny masterpiece, a little icy sermon about God’s creativity.
The whole forest glows like it’s been dipped in powdered sugar.
Even my antlers glisten, which I consider a personal win.

Panel 4 — M. Moose dramatically shivering, icicles hanging from his antlers like chandelier earrings
Do I enjoy the cold
— the kind that sneaks into your bones and sets up a long‑term lease?
No.
But do I admire the aesthetic?
Absolutely.
I look like a walking winter centerpiece from a fancy lodge gift shop.

Panel 5 — M. Moose spotting Marla Moose in the distance, heart-shaped steam puffs rising from his breath
And then…
There she is.
Marla Moose.
Standing in the snow like a Hallmark heroine with perfect fur volume.
Suddenly the snow doesn’t feel cold at all.
My heart floats up like a helium balloon.
My eyes go full googly mode.
I am, in a word, compromised.

Panel 6 — M. Moose slipping on ice, legs everywhere, but smiling like a fool
I attempt to walk toward her.
I immediately slip.
I perform a triple‑axel that would earn at least an A+ on America’s Got Talent.
I land in a snowbank.
She laughs.
I decide winter is my favorite season.

Panel 7 — M. Moose and Marla walking together through sparkling snow
Snow crunches under our hooves.
The world is quiet, soft, holy.
The trees wear white robes.
The air smells like pine and possibility.
And I think:
“Behold, winter is wondrous… especially when shared.”

M Moose and Marla Moose Valentines Day

🎤 Moose Musings: Live From Pinebark Glen, Montana

“A Moose’s Life… With Commentary”

From the Journal & Comedy Routine of M. Moose, Esq.

Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, squirrels, and that one porcupine who always sits in the front row. I am M. Moose, Esq., broadcasting live from the majestic wilderness of Pinebark Glen, Montana, where the mountains are tall, the winters are rude, and the tourists think I’m a lawn ornament.

Let me tell you about life as a real moose.

1. Breakfast Is a Full‑Time Job

Every morning I wake up and immediately begin eating. Not because I’m hungry — but because I’m a moose. It’s what we do. I eat willow branches, birch twigs, and occasionally someone’s decorative shrubbery. If you don’t want me to eat it, don’t plant it. That’s in the Bible somewhere. Probably.

2. My Antlers Are Not Wi‑Fi Antennas

Tourists keep asking if they can “get a signal” by standing near me. No, Karen, you cannot. These antlers are for display, intimidation, and occasionally hanging Christmas lights when the woodland choir gets festive.

3. Winter Is a Personal Attack

Montana winters are no joke. The snow gets so deep I once lost a whole leg in it. Don’t worry — I found it again. But I did quote Psalm 69:2 while searching: “I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing…” Tell me that isn’t a moose verse.

4. Humans Think They’re Quiet

You ever see a hiker trying to sneak up on wildlife? They crunch every leaf, snap every twig, breathe like a malfunctioning accordion, and then whisper, “Do you think he sees us?” Ma’am, I heard you park the car.

5. The Rut: Nature’s Reality Show

Every fall, the bull moose gather to impress the ladies. It’s like America’s Got Talent, except instead of singing, we grunt loudly and smash our heads into trees. I once got a 9.5 from a panel of rabbits. Marla Moose gave me an A+. I fainted.

6. Speaking of Marla Moose…

Every time I see her, my heart floats up like a helium balloon at a church picnic. My eyes go googly. My knees wobble. I become a 1,200‑pound bowl of emotional oatmeal. Behold, Proverbs 18:22 in action.

7. Predators Are Rude

Wolves think they’re sneaky. They’re not. I can hear them whispering strategy like middle‑schoolers planning a prank. “You go left.” “No, YOU go left.” “Is he looking?” Yes. I am looking. And no, you may not have a moose snack today.

8. I Am a Moose of Faith

When life gets tough — when the snow is deep, the wolves are chatty, and Marla Moose walks by looking radiant — I remember Psalm 121:1: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills…” Which is easy, because I live in the hills.

9. I’ve Learned to Laugh at Myself

I once got my antlers stuck in a hammock. I once fell into a pond while trying to look majestic. I once mistook a scarecrow for a rival bull and challenged it to a duel. Humility is a spiritual gift.

10. Life Lesson From a Talking Moose

If a moose can survive Montana winters, awkward encounters, falling into ponds, and the emotional hurricane known as Marla Moose… then you can survive whatever you’re facing too. God gives strength to the weak, humor to the weary, and joy to those who choose to see it.

As it is written: “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

And that, my friends, concludes tonight’s Moose Musings. Tip your squirrels. Drive safely. And remember: If you see a moose — don’t pet it. We’re majestic, not cuddly.

💘 From the Journal of M. Moose, Esq.

Valentine’s Edition — “Marla Moose and the Melting of My Winter Blues”

Let it be known throughout Pinebark Glen, Montana, that I, M. Moose, Esq., a creature of considerable antler span and emotional depth, have officially fallen victim to the most powerful force known to moosekind: Valentine’s Day feelings.

It all began on a frosty February morning. The kind where your breath freezes mid‑air and your hooves stick to the ground like you’ve been super‑glued by nature. I was trudging through the snow, muttering about winter’s poor attitude, when suddenly — there she was.

Marla Moose.

Stepping out from behind a snow‑dusted pine like the heroine of a woodland romance novel no one asked for but everyone needed.

Her fur shimmered. Her antlers sparkled. Her eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings dipped in stardust.

And I, noble bull of the Bitterroot Mountains, immediately produced googly eyes so large they could have been used as satellite dishes.

I tried to greet her with dignity. What came out was, “Huh‑bluh‑happy‑Valen‑moose‑day.” She smiled. I melted. The snow melted. The entire hillside may have shifted slightly.

We walked together along the creek, which was frozen solid except for one tiny patch that gurgled like it was cheering us on. She told me she liked my antlers. I told her I liked her… everything. She laughed. I fainted internally.

At one point, she slipped on the ice, and I caught her with the grace of a moose who has practiced this moment in his imagination for months. She said, “You’re strong.” I said, “I lift logs.” She said, “Why?” I said, “Emotional preparation.”

We shared willow branches. We watched the sunset paint the mountains pink. And I remembered Proverbs 18:22: “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.” I’m not saying Marla Moose is the good thing… but I’m also not not saying it.

As we parted ways, she gave me a small heart-shaped leaf she’d found on the trail. I have placed it in my journal under the heading: “Evidence of Mutual Affection — Preserve Carefully.”

And so, dear reader, I declare this truth: Winter may be cold. Snow may be rude. But love — moose love — is warmer than a Montana sunrise.

And behold, my winter blues have officially been replaced with Valentine’s Day pinks

“The Bristle Pact”

“The Bristle Pact” By Bear (with a little help from a wise porcupine)

In the heart of the Forest Fellowship, Bear was known for his big hugs, booming laugh, and complete disregard for personal space. He loved everyone—squirrels, skunks, even the moody badger—and assumed they all loved him back. But one creature remained mysteriously unhuggable: Porcupine. Every time Bear tried to greet him with a pawful of affection, he ended up with a pawful of splinters. “You’re like a walking cactus with attitude!” Bear grumbled, nursing his latest poke.

Porcupine, perched calmly on a log, replied without blinking, “And you’re like a fuzzy avalanche with boundary issues.” The forest fell silent. Even Owl raised an eyebrow. Bear blinked. “Boundary issues?” he repeated, as if the phrase had wandered in from another ecosystem. Porcupine nodded. “God gave me quills for a reason. Not to push others away, but to remind them that closeness isn’t the same as connection.”

Bear spent the day sulking under a berry bush, pondering Porcupine’s words. He thought about how he’d barged into nests, interrupted naps, and assumed his hugs were healing when sometimes they were just... intrusive. That night, he prayed beneath the stars: “Lord, help me love like You do—with wisdom, not just warmth.” The next morning, Bear approached Porcupine with a gentle nod and a paw raised—not for a hug, but for a respectful wave.

Porcupine smiled. “Look at that. Growth without splinters.” From that day on, Bear became the forest’s ambassador of respectful affection. He still gave hugs—but only with permission. And Porcupine? He became Bear’s closest friend, proving that even the prickly ones have purpose. Together, they taught the forest that boundaries aren’t barriers—they’re bridges built with trust, space, and a little comic relief.

🐻 “I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” — A Bear’s Reflection

🐻 “I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” — A Bear’s Reflection

Now listen, friend—have you ever really looked at a bear? I mean, really looked? I’m a walking marvel, stitched together by the Almighty with paws that can crush logs and yet cradle a newborn cub. My nose? It’s a miracle sniffer. I can smell berries ripening from half a mile away, and I once tracked a honey trail so long it felt like a pilgrimage. My brain? Sharp as a pine needle. I remember every berry patch, every fishy bend in the brook, and every two-legger who’s ever tried to take a selfie with me. (Spoiler: bad idea.)

I’ve got strength, speed, and a coat that shrugs off rain like it’s nothing. And don’t get me started on my hibernation skills—six months of sleep without an alarm clock? That’s divine engineering.

Sometimes I sit by the brook and think, “Wow, Lord. You really outdid Yourself.” And then I catch a fish mid-leap and think it again.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”Psalm 139:14

Through the Eyes—and Snout—of a Bear

Through the Eyes—and Snout—of a Bear

Well now, let me tell ya 'bout my neck of the woods. I'm nestled deep in the forest, where the air’s thick with pine and damp earth—like nature’s cologne, if you’re into that sort of thing. The moss beneath my paws is cool and springy, like walking on grandma’s couch cushions (don’t ask how I know that). And the trees? Tall guardians that sway and whisper like ancient storytellers, always gossiping about squirrels and the weather.

Sunlight sneaks through the canopy in golden stripes, painting the forest floor in patches of warmth. I like to stretch out in those sunny spots and pretend I’m a cinnamon roll baking to perfection. Sometimes a squirrel will drop a pinecone on my belly just to see if I flinch. I don’t. I’m a professional.

There’s a brook nearby, babbling like it’s got secrets to spill. I sit beside it often, scooping up fish when they zig instead of zag. One time, a trout slapped me right in the snout and swam off laughing. I respect that kind of sass. The wind carries scents from miles off—berries ripening, elk wandering, even the odd two-legger huffing through the trail in those squeaky boots. I once followed one just to see where he was going. Turns out he was lost. I gave him a helpful growl and he found his way real quick.

Birdsong fills the morning, and the owls keep watch at night. It’s quiet, mostly. But it’s the kind of quiet that’s alive, y’know? Everything has a rhythm—the rustle, the hum, the crunch of leaves under paw. My den’s carved into a hill, snug and dry, lined with leaves, fur, and one very confused raccoon who refuses to leave. Best place in the world to dream about honey and salmon. Or sometimes, just dream about floating on a log down the river wearing sunglasses and sipping birch sap. Don’t judge. A bear’s gotta have goal.

Sometimes, when I’m stretched out in my den, belly full of berries and dreams full of salmon, I get to thinkin’. Not just about snacks and naps—but about how wonderfully I’m made. I mean, paws that can dig, climb, and cradle? A nose that sniffs out supper from a mile away? A brain that remembers every trail, every scent, and every raccoon roommate who overstays his welcome? That’s no accident. That’s divine craftsmanship. The Lord didn’t just make me big and fuzzy—He made me clever, curious, and perfectly suited for this patch of paradise.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”Psalm 139:14 ,

🍓 Bear’s Summer Delight: A Morning Berry Feast

🍓 Bear’s Summer Delight:

A Morning Berry Feast

“Sun’s barely stretching over the horizon, but I’m already up. The forest’s breathing warm now—thick with scent and song. My fur’s slick from the morning mist, and the light picks up its golden tips as I saunter through dew-soaked underbrush.

Under my paws? Cushioned moss and soil, sprinkled with the tiniest blue blossoms. A slope nearby is dressed in dandelions and black-eyed Susans, waving like old friends. Butterflies dance lazy circles in the air. The hills wear green like royalty, velvet and vast, stitched with wildflower seams.

I sniff the wind—ah, there it is. The sweet pulse of berries. Raspberries tangled in thorny brambles, sun-warmed and bursting. I nudge in gently, careful not to get jabbed, and pluck a few with a flick of tongue. They pop like joy in my mouth—juicy, tart, wild. Further in, blackberries hang heavy, their sugar whispering of long days and buzzing bees.

The bees are everywhere—busy, golden workers humming over clover and bergamot. I let them be; we share this feast in peace. Down the hill, there’s a patch of milkweed and Queen Anne’s lace where fawns sometimes peek out at me, curious and quiet.

I roll in the tall grasses, brushing against goldenrod and yarrow. My body’s strong, broad and softened by the lazy rhythm of summer. Each breath tastes like sunshine and roots. I rest in the shade of an ancient maple, its leaves flickering stories above me, belly full and soul content.

This place? It’s not just where I live—it’s who I am. Wild. Blooming. Home.”

Genesis 8:22 (KJV) “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

This verse reflects the rhythm of creation that the bear experiences—the sweetness of berries, the warmth of the sun, and the faithful cycle of seasons that brings life and provision.

Bear’s Autumn Tale

Bear’s Autumn Tale

Chasing Scents Through a Golden World

“Fall's rolled in like an old friend wrapped in a spicy breeze, and the forest’s dressed in its finest. My coat’s thick now—rich, brown, and warm, catching bursts of leaf-fire as I lumber along. Bits of maple and oak leaves cling to my fur, like nature's confetti saying, You made it through the summer, big fella.

The air snaps crisp against my snout. Scents are everywhere—apple, damp bark, mushrooms huddled in clusters, and something deep and woodsy that calls me higher into the hills. I walk slow at first, through blankets of rust-colored leaves, kicking up a crunch with every step. It’s music to my paws.

Goldenrod’s fading now, but asters still bloom, like stars sprinkled across the meadow. I find a patch of late-season berries, deep purple and sweet like honey. I eat with gusto—every bite a memory of warmer days, every mouthful a fuel for the colder ones ahead. A squirrel scolds me from a high branch, tail flicking, eyes bold. I grunt and move on, not in the mood for gossip.

I climb a ridge covered in tall grass, tipped with seed heads that sway like white doves in the wind. From the top, I see a mosaic of color—amber hills, red valleys, and the silver thread of a creek winding through it all like a soft lullaby.

I pause. My breath is visible, my muscles strong beneath this fur of seasons. The world is winding down, but it feels more alive than ever. A fox streaks past. Leaves tumble. The sun begins to rest.

And me? I chase one more scent before twilight settles. It leads to a clearing where the ground is warm, the wind is kind, and the stars are just beginning to wake.”

A bear heaven that's for sure if I do say so myself.

Psalm 104:24 (KJV) “O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”

This verse echoes the bear’s awe as he roams through the golden hills, savoring berries and scents, and witnessing the abundance of the forest.

A Peaceful Night Starts Here - The Lantern Choir

A Peaceful Goodnight Starts Here

  1. Verse 1 (Bear) – “I once feared the shadows of night, till Jesus brought me light.”

  2. Verse 2 (Hooty) – “He gave me songs my heart could keep, and watches while I sleep.”

  3. Verse 3 (Carl) – “He walks beside me every day, and helps me learn His way.”

➡️ Chorus (all together)

“So I sing like Bear, pray like Hooty, Trust like Carl when skies look moody. His love is strong and ever near — My peaceful goodnight starts right here.”

Then simply repeat the song or fade out gently with a soft final chorus hummed, whispered, or spoken as a blessing.

Peaceful Goodnight

Verse 1 – Bear’s Whisper

I once feared the shadows of night,
Till Jesus brought His guiding light.
He came with love, so pure and true,
And made my heart completely new.

Verse 2 – Hooty’s Hymn

He gave me songs my soul could keep,
A melody to calm my sleep.
His Word shines bright, my heart it fills,
Like moonlight dancing on the hills.

Verse 3 – Carl’s Promise

He walks beside me every day,
Through forest trails and clouds of gray.
His truth remains, His mercy stays,
I praise Him through my woodland ways.

Choir: 🌟 Chorus –

He walks beside me night and day,
His Word is light to guide my way.
I rest in Him, no need to fear—
His love is strong, His peace is near.

Susan Barker Nikitenko July 31, 2025© SBMBPMKBNMRMPBANNAGNBENN43234$Co

You can repeat the entire structure once (for a 2-minute song), or softly echo just the chorus as a closing hum. For a sing-along version, each critter can “take the lead” on their verse — with expressive coloring pages showing Bear’s bedtime hug, Hooty’s moonlit perch, and Carl walking in faith with a lantern lit by scripture.

Peaceful Goodnight

Peaceful Goodnight

Verse 1:
When I believed, when I received,
Then Jesus came into my heart.
Not by the good that I have done,
But because God sent His only Son.

Verse 2:
Now I talk, and I walk in His way,
My heart thinks of Him every day.
I'll grow up loving Him always,
I'll sing with joy and give Him praise.

Verse 3:
Let’s praise Him, praise Him evermore,
In the morning light, at noon, at night.
When our trust is in Him, it’s right,
And we'll have a peaceful goodnight.

Chorus:
Peaceful goodnight, the stars shine above,
Wrapped in His mercy, His grace, and His love.
Safe in His care, no need for fright,
We rest in His arms through the quiet night.

Bear Tells Us About Carl

Bear Tells Us About Carl

🐻 "Well, let me tell ya about Carl. He's the kind of fella who walks through the woods with the confidence of someone who's never been chased by bees. Big voice, small sandwiches. I once saw him try to wrestle a sleeping bag into submission—it won.

Carl's got this face that's always smiling, like he's either planning something delightful or just remembered where he hid his snacks. He calls it ‘expressive.’ I call it ‘suspiciously cheerful.’ Oh, and his fashion sense? Think lumberjack meets confused meteorologist. Layers on layers. Guy wears more zippers than I’ve seen on a tent.

But y’know what? He’s got heart. Gave me half his granola once. Didn’t even flinch when I licked it first. A solid human, really. Weird, but solid."

Bear Tells Us About the Lumberjack

🐻 "Ah, the lumberjack. A walking contradiction wrapped in flannel. He stomps through my forest like he owns the place, swinging that axe with more drama than a raccoon defending its dumpster snacks. The birds scatter when he sneezes. Even the wind dodges his beard.

He's got arms like fallen logs and a beard that squirrels mistake for prime nesting real estate. Smells like pine, coffee, and bad decisions. But I’ll give him credit—he talks to trees before he chops them, like he’s apologizing first. That’s class, I guess?

And don’t get me started on his boots. Stomp louder than a thunderstorm on stilts. Wakes me up every time he visits, yet he claims he's ‘quiet as snow.’ Yeah… snow with attitude.

Still, he’s got a strange charm. Left me a cookie once. Oatmeal raisin. I ate it. Raisins are weird. He’s weirder. But he’s alright by bear standards."

🦉✨ Tap tap goes Hooty’s claw on his little brass pocket watch. He clears his throat, fluffs his feathers with the dignity of a professor preparing a lecture, then steadies himself on the lower limb of the ancient oak tree.

Daily Devotion with Hooty the Owl

Scripture Focus: Exodus 15:2 (KJV)

“The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.”

🌳 Hooty’s Reflections (with just a dash of feathered humor):

“Ahem,” Hooty begins, adjusting his monocle even though he doesn’t need it. “Young ones and furry folk of the forest, today’s verse is no ordinary woodland whisper. It's a bold declaration — that our strength is not found in acorns, muscle-bound raccoons, or even Carl's legendary ability to deadlift a log while humming a hymn.”

He flutters his wing toward the sky dramatically.

“It is the Lord who gives us strength. The Lord who fills our hearts with song when the days are dark and the squirrel choir is slightly off-key.”

“Salvation,” Hooty continues, “is not something we earn with leaf collections or pie-baking contests. It is given. And when we recognize that—well, we prepare a place for Him in our hearts. A nest, if you will. Lined with humility, woven with joy.”

Squirrel #3 whispers to Bunny: “Did Hooty just say God moves in with us like a cozy roommate?”
Hooty blinks slowly. “Yes,” he responds. “Except this roommate doesn’t leave dirty dishes in the den.”

He Dwells with Us

From the Bible

✝️ John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Simple meaning: God loves you deeply — so much that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, to die for your sins. If you believe in Him, you won't face eternal separation from God (perish), but instead you’ll be given everlasting life with Him.

✝️ Ephesians 2:8–9

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Simple meaning: You can’t earn your way into heaven with good deeds or behavior. Salvation is a gift — freely given by God’s grace — and received through faith in Jesus Christ. No one can brag about earning it, because it’s not about our efforts.

✝️ Romans 10:9

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.”

Simple meaning: Salvation comes when you say with sincerity that Jesus is Lord and truly believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. This faith activates your rescue — your salvation.

✝️ Romans 10:13

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Simple meaning: Anyone — absolutely anyone — who calls out to Jesus for help, forgiveness, and salvation will be saved by Him. No one is too far gone, and everyone is welcome. Jesus came to save souls from everlasting punishment which is called hell.

💬 In a nutshell:
You’re saved not by trying harder, but by trusting Jesus. Believe in Him, confess Him as Lord, and call on His name — and He will save you. It’s simple, sincere faith. That’s the gospel truth

📖 Devotion Thoughts

He then comes into our heart and his song, his Word and is love teaches us and helps us through prayer and bible study.

Reality of Salvation — it’s not just a moment of  being saved, it’s the beginning of a relationship. We become a child of God.

When Jesus enters our heart, He doesn’t come silently. His presence brings light, His Word becomes a song in our soul, and His love gently guides us. Through prayer, He speaks to us. Through the Bible, He teaches us. It’s how He walks with us every day — shaping us, encouraging us, and sometimes gently correcting us.

It’s like going from wandering alone in the dark, to walking hand in hand with the Light Himself. 🌟

Draw a nest filled with the qualities that make a habitation for God — love, joy, patience, praise. Label each twig with a word, and give the nest a name.

My Granddaughter

 My Grandaughter

My granddaughter was visiting the Tiger's game when she and my daughters came to the gate and could not pass.  She proceeded to put her hands upon the bars and with all her strength grunting tried to pull the bars apart.  My daughter asked her "What are you doing? " I'm trying to pull the bars apart so we can get through."  She responded.  My daughter laughed and said " You cannot pull those apart those are metal.  "I can to", she said, " I'm just not trying hard enough."

Our two-year-old granddaughter said to her mom, "Mama, Benjamin grew out of your belly are you going to grow me a sister now?"

She asked this question when her mom had to go to the hospital ...Can I go into labor with you, Mama?

My daughters were shopping at Good Will with my granddaughter who discovered something she didn't have and felt it was something she needed.  She said, Oh look, I have found something I don't have that I need to buy.  She had two dollars of potty chair money to spend.  She surprised everyone in the room when she held up a bra and asked what size she would need.  Two little old ladies overheard her and cracked up laughing. So did my daughters.   I'm sure it is something that will be talked about for years to come.

My daughter put my granddaughter to bed for a nap.  She thought she was sleeping when she heard a noise.  She went to check on my granddaughter.  My daughter was surprised, my granddaughter had pulled out all her shoes.  She asked her, "What are you doing up?"  My granddaughter replied " I'm trying to decide what shoes to wear to the doctor tomorrow. "  The next day my granddaughter, before time to leave,  went to put her shoes on.  She came out wearing her church shoes.  Her mother said," You do not need to wear your church shoes to the doctor.  They do not match what you are wearing. " My granddaughter insisted and her mom let her wear the shoes she wanted.

When my granddaughter finally got to the doctor.  The doctor was doing what she normally does. Then my granddaughter pointed out her shoes.  She wanted to show her how pretty her shoes were.  Of course, the doctor agreed.

. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.  I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. {Open: Heb. Reveal}
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. {My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.  Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
his I had, because I kept thy precepts.

Psalms 119:57 -83

Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.  I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.  Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.  They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.
. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.  I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. {lamp: or, candle}
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.  I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.  My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
