My Granddaughter

 My Grandaughter

My granddaughter was visiting the Tiger's game when she and my daughters came to the gate and could not pass.  She proceeded to put her hands upon the bars and with all her strength grunting tried to pull the bars apart.  My daughter asked her "What are you doing? " I'm trying to pull the bars apart so we can get through."  She responded.  My daughter laughed and said " You cannot pull those apart those are metal.  "I can to", she said, " I'm just not trying hard enough."

Our two-year-old granddaughter said to her mom, "Mama, Benjamin grew out of your belly are you going to grow me a sister now?"

She asked this question when her mom had to go to the hospital ...Can I go into labor with you, Mama?

My daughters were shopping at Good Will with my granddaughter who discovered something she didn't have and felt it was something she needed.  She said, Oh look, I have found something I don't have that I need to buy.  She had two dollars of potty chair money to spend.  She surprised everyone in the room when she held up a bra and asked what size she would need.  Two little old ladies overheard her and cracked up laughing. So did my daughters.   I'm sure it is something that will be talked about for years to come.

My daughter put my granddaughter to bed for a nap.  She thought she was sleeping when she heard a noise.  She went to check on my granddaughter.  My daughter was surprised, my granddaughter had pulled out all her shoes.  She asked her, "What are you doing up?"  My granddaughter replied " I'm trying to decide what shoes to wear to the doctor tomorrow. "  The next day my granddaughter, before time to leave,  went to put her shoes on.  She came out wearing her church shoes.  Her mother said," You do not need to wear your church shoes to the doctor.  They do not match what you are wearing. " My granddaughter insisted and her mom let her wear the shoes she wanted.

When my granddaughter finally got to the doctor.  The doctor was doing what she normally does. Then my granddaughter pointed out her shoes.  She wanted to show her how pretty her shoes were.  Of course, the doctor agreed.
