A Peaceful Night Starts Here - The Lantern Choir

A Peaceful Goodnight Starts Here

  1. Verse 1 (Bear) – “I once feared the shadows of night, till Jesus brought me light.”

  2. Verse 2 (Hooty) – “He gave me songs my heart could keep, and watches while I sleep.”

  3. Verse 3 (Carl) – “He walks beside me every day, and helps me learn His way.”

➡️ Chorus (all together)

“So I sing like Bear, pray like Hooty, Trust like Carl when skies look moody. His love is strong and ever near — My peaceful goodnight starts right here.”

Then simply repeat the song or fade out gently with a soft final chorus hummed, whispered, or spoken as a blessing.

Peaceful Goodnight

Verse 1 – Bear’s Whisper

I once feared the shadows of night,
Till Jesus brought His guiding light.
He came with love, so pure and true,
And made my heart completely new.

Verse 2 – Hooty’s Hymn

He gave me songs my soul could keep,
A melody to calm my sleep.
His Word shines bright, my heart it fills,
Like moonlight dancing on the hills.

Verse 3 – Carl’s Promise

He walks beside me every day,
Through forest trails and clouds of gray.
His truth remains, His mercy stays,
I praise Him through my woodland ways.

Choir: 🌟 Chorus –

He walks beside me night and day,
His Word is light to guide my way.
I rest in Him, no need to fear—
His love is strong, His peace is near.

You can repeat the entire structure once (for a 2-minute song), or softly echo just the chorus as a closing hum. For a sing-along version, each critter can “take the lead” on their verse — with expressive coloring pages showing Bear’s bedtime hug, Hooty’s moonlit perch, and Carl walking in faith with a lantern lit by scripture.
